Before FHE a few weeks ago we had a bubble blowing contest. Ubby doesn't know how to blow bubbles, but it was his roll of gum (you know the kind that has a million feet and tastes gross after about 5 minutes) that gave us all the inspiration to have a contest.
This week for FHE we talked about prophets (I got the idea from LDS Living.) Then we dramatized Samuel the Lamanite. Ubby got on the ottoman and began telling commandments and we all threw wadded up papers at him. Later, after the kids went to bed, I put together conference packets for each of the kids according to their understanding and knowledge. I am so excited for conference:)

We should teach you the Samuel the Lamanite song my dad wrote. It's a winner, the boys can't stop singing it.
I was just thinking this morning it was time to pull out and reprint my conference packets. 6 months seem to pass way to quickly.
And I have permanently banned gum in my house. It never stays in the mouth here and I hate scraping it off floors.
