Easter Weekend

What a fun weekend we've had. Friday night we colored Easter Eggs. The kids loved it. Dad taught them how to make a "rotten egg", which consists of putting the egg in every color for about a minute each. Saturday morning the Easter Bunny came, leaving baskets of candy and a few games for the whole family.
Mid- morning, the kids went to a massive egg hunt close to our house. Half hour later they went to another egg hunt at the church in our back yard. They have plenty of candy to last them until Halloween!

This morning we decided to get some pictures of the kids in their cute Easter clothes. I threatened Doe within an inch of his life if he made even one comment about having to wear a sweater vest. I bought all the clothes last May from Children's Place on clearance. I got 2 dresses, 2 pr. shoes, & 2 sweater vests all for under $20. Doe complied. And the pictures turned out cute (and if nothing else, we must look good for scrapbook pictures!)

P.S. Saturday I did a speed scrap at Stuff to Scrap. It was so much fun, even though my computer froze half way into it. For one hour, you get one instruction every 10 minutes (like choose 3 papers or use 2 buttons and 3 other elements). Then, after that, you have one hour to finish your layout and upload it to the gallery. Here is what I ended up with. I'm working on the page opposite of it and I'm very excited because I learned how to "tear" paper in photoshop and I'm using it in the other page.)

very fun! We must have shopped the same sale at the Children's Place last year. I have the same sweater vest that you have in green. But mine are blue. And I have 3 of them! The kids look cute! And looks like Easter was a sucess. I still love your tradition of getting games for the family at Easter. Fun for everyone!
