SAHM Scrapper

When I started reading blogs 8 or 9 months ago, I would see profiles that started out, "I'm a SAHM to 2 beautiful children..." After reading that "SAHM" over and over, I started wondering what it meant. So one productive night, I mulled over those letters in my mind. And I came up with the answer.

Sexy And Hot Mama.

And I thought, WOW! Good for all these confident ladies! I'm so glad to see women who are proud to not only be a mom, but to be a sexy one at that!

Some time later came a conversation with a friend about what it really meant.

I was a little disappointed.

I tried to let it go. But I really didn't want to. So when I would read those profiles, I would say, "Sexy and Hot Mama" when I read the acronym.

As I just posted, last week I got accepted to be on a creative team for a digital designer. She emailed me and advised that maybe I wanted to have a blog just for my digital scrapbook stuff. When she started, she was getting about 15 hits a day on her personal blog. Now she gets 200-300 on days she doesn't post and more than triple that on days she posts.

And thus my dilemma. I don't want 200-1000 strangers per day knowing the details of my family's exsistence. I needed a new blog, but what could I call it?

Upon browsing through countless blogs, it suddenly came to me: SAHM Scrapper. And, of course, SAHM stands for what I want it to stand for!!

I have spent the better part of today figuring out how to make my own blog background and setting up another blog (the background thing wasn't as easy as I thought it was going to be!)

So, tonight, I have emerged as a new super hero. As much as I love Word Girl, I am putting her to rest to become:

That is where I'll be posting my digital stuff. And sometimes there will be freebies that you can download. (I'll make sure to announce on here when there are free downloads:) I already got a kit from Britt (my designer) and made a LO (layout) tonight, but I'm not allowed to post it until April 19, when the kit is released. It is super cute! I can't wait to share.

Now, one more item of business. There are several of you whom have expressed interest in learning how to digital scrapbook. I am totally willing to teach anyone who wants to learn, how to scrapbook using photoshop. You probably want to live close to me so we can get together to learn. I will just remind you all that I am moving in about 3 months. And the closer we get, the crazier my life will be.
