Back to School

Tonight was back to school for the boys. I almost got emotional as I went to both classrooms and they had...SIGN UP SHEETS FOR PARENTS TO VOLUNTEER!!! In the classroom. On a regular basis.

They actually wanted me to be involved. Yea!!!

It was also nice to hear terms such as "AR", for the accelerated reading program, "DOL" for Daily oral language, and seeing things such as a program I loved in math that reviews math concepts everyday (for those of you who have taught, it's the one that is up on the wall) and a whole area for writing (including the writing process, ect.)

Sigh of relief. I am glad to be here.
