Random Ramblings

The last three days I've spent about 12 hours each day getting BA's office ready.

It's really close to ready. OK, everything is ready but his office. It's a disaster...and not even close to being ready. That door is going to stay closed for a while.

Our children have fended for themselves for these 3 days. Completely. We've gotten home at 9 pm or later each night. And they didn't kill each other. They prepared and ate all their meals (at least the ones they didn't have at school). Ok, one night it was mac and cheese. But that's no worse than a college student. It's weird to realize that our children are old enough to do that. AND they watched their 18 month old sister who isn't that easy to keep track of.

The office opens up Monday. BA has a great receptionist. He also has 30 new patients for next week. Pretty exciting.

I'm tired. And it's only 9:00. I went to Walmart 4 times today. FOUR! I'd go get stuff and come back to the office and a few hours later have to go get more stuff. (I spent 8 hours earlier in the week off to "the big city" to get stuff to decorate the office- the stuff from today was odds and ends)

I wish there was a Target here.

No, there isn't a Target here.

But if there was, this town would be perfect.

Speaking of today. There was a parade today in town. It's the third parade Smallville has had since we moved here 2 months ago. These people like to have fun. We let our kids go to the parade. Alone. (But without Caroline.) Thankfully the parade is almost right outside BA's new office.

That's all I got. Ramblings. I'll post pictures of the office next week.

Wow, that sounds like a lot of work! I hope BA enjoys his first week in his new office!

I can't believe there have been 3 parades in 2 months. How many things can there be to build a float about? Awesome that you have raised such independent and responsible children!

Heber is like that too. We have so many parades. Wasatch Days, Swiss Days, etc. It's fun! Glad you're settling in and loving it there!
