Sarah is doing amazing in school. As I posted in my Facebook status, I would have never know when she was so emotional and I didn't think I could handle her any more--in 4th grade, that she would be so pleasant and fun to be around by 7th grade! we enjoy her more and more each day. She got braces in September and has done really good with them.
Joseph is doing well in 4th grade. He was bored right at first. I talked to his teacher and she assured me things would pick up. He loves it when he goes to his leveled math class. I think it is the time of day that makes him think the most. When we ask about his day, he talks about recess and P.E. When he talks about math, occasionally, it's usually about something challenging. That's when we know he liked it. (And his birthday is today :) He is 10.)
Caleb. Like I said, he is doing good here at home. I'm trying to talk him into wanting to go back to public school when we get done with the 2nd grade curriculum. So far, he won't hear anything of it. We'll see if I can convince him by then.
Caroline. That girl has learned how to scream and scream loud. She does some talking, but lots of screaming. It pretty much puts me at my wits end by the end of every day- if not sooner. In that same breath, I will say that she is still as entertaining as ever (when she is not screaming!)
Alan is doing well at work. He still loves it. Which is good, unless he wants to get him a different wife. We celebrated 14 years of marriage this past week. I am so thankful to be married to him.
I am working hard at being a mom, homeschooling, and my digital scrapbook business. I merged with another great designer this month. It's been a lot of work to get things ready for that, but I hope in the next week or so the work will slow down, which is why we both decided to merge. I start teaching classes at our local scrapbook store this week. I'm pretty excited about it. I will be teaching a basic digital scrapbook class and basic photo editing class each month. Then in January I will start a 6 week Photoshop Elements class.
This past weekend was International Scrapbook Day. I scrapped lots! Here is one of my favorite 2 page spreads. It's my favorite because of the quote. I also update my slide show above to include some of my newer layouts. They are all at the end.
