When she started waking up again in the night around 5 or 6 months, that was OK too. And when she started getting up 2 times a night, that was fine. And even 3 times was fine. Four times was starting to push it. By 5 times a night, I wasn't too happy. And finally at 6 times a night, I told BA Baracas that Sweet Pea needed a few nights in a room in the basement where I couldn't hear her. BA Baracas immediately protested, saying it would be mean to put our little baby down in the basement on her own.
So the next night I kicked him out of bed to get up with Sweet Pea for 3 of the 6 times she woke up. The next morning, BA Baracas had changed his mind and was completely OK with putting her in the basement to cry it out.
So we took her port-a-crib down to the basement and we have slept very good since.
Two days ago our friends gave us their baby crib (Sweet Pea has only slept in a bassinet and a port-a-crib). I got it all set up in the girls' room and when it was bed time, I put Sweet Pea in it. She hated it. She cried and cried. Not a normal cry- an "I'm traumatized"cry.
So she went down to her room in the basement.
Yesterday I put her in her crib for her naps. It was a rough day for her. In the evening I walked with her into her room and she clung real tight to me and started whimpering.
This morning BA Baracas put her in her crib for a morning nap. We thought she was doing good because she wasn't crying. I went in to check on her and found:

Thank goodness for binkies and bars.
In other news, BA Baracas took some pictures of Sweet Pea this morning playing Peek-a-Boo. Then he looked at the pictures on the camera. Most of them are of Sweet Pea. By far we have more pictures of her than of the other kids, but that would be due to our awesome camera. Here are some recent pictures:

And, last but not least, when we carved pumpkins a few weeks ago, this was one of the children's pumpkins. I'm pretty sure it screams out, "I'm going to need therapy when I'm older."

I'm sure they will need therapy later, but I don't think it will have much to do with pumpkins ;P
Hi Becky! I can't believe I haven't seen you since your wedding reception! I was looking around at some old Jordan High school friends on Facebook and was so excited to find you. I have wondered what you were up to over all the years! Your family is beautiful and your kids are darling! I can't believe you have a 10 year old. I am expecting baby #2 next week, should be crazy because we will have two little girls who are 14 months apart. I'm going to add your blog to my list so I can keep track of what's going on with you.
LOVE the pumpkin. And don't feel bad about the crib thing. Peter NEVER slept one night in a crib. It was the pack-n-play the whole time for him.
Happy Anniversary! My email gave me a reminder, so I thought about you, just didn't write or call.
WE had to let Anna scream it out for a night or two. She was a good sleeper until the teeth started to show up. Then it was like she enjoy the middle of the night time together. It only took one or two nights of Landon going in to clam her. She is now sleeping well through the night. Binkies and bars a match made is heaven!!!
