A dozen years...

This past weekend was our 12th anniversary. So I was thinking about the day we got married. Here are a few highlights:

* I woke up early-at like 4:00. I couldn't go back to sleep, so I got ready. I curled probably hundreds of little curls for my big day.

*Then I waited around for my parents to be ready to go. We got to the temple late. Really late.

*Don't remember much about the temple. Pretty sure we got married. I just can't remember it.

*Pictures after. Grandpa L. ticked off the photographer by taking pictures right next to the photographer. Both stubborn men.

*Yummy lunch.

*Hid the car at the reception as to not incur the stupidity of teenage boys.

*I starved during the reception. I had made sure we had great food and I never got to eat any of it.

*I was tired the whole day. I now know that it was because I was allergic to my bouquet (lillies).

*The dance at my reception. I danced the first 1/3 with my dad and the last 2/3 with BA Baracas. Very memorable.

So it's been 12 years. I think of who I was then and who I am now. I am somewhat embarrassed at how naive and immature I was. But, I suppose in another 12 years I'll look back and say the same for where I am right now in my life.

I suppose I could get mushy about BA Baracas. But it's hard to get mushy about the A-team. So I won't. I love him. That's all I need to say.
