I remember 4 years ago exactly going to his brother's graduation. It was very nice (and long, and boring). But it made me real depressed that we had 4 more years of school.
It is amazing to me that it has been 4 years. They have been amazing years.
Many have asked if we have family and/or visitors coming into town for the graduation. Then they are surprised that we don't.
I guess when BA graduated with his Masters of Business from BYU, we celebrated the day as if it was the end of all the really hard work.
Ya, ha.
We find ourselves much wiser this time. While graduation should be celebrated, it is CERTAINLY not the end all. We went, we danced, and we came home. Ok, we didn't dance. We sat. I let the kids practice whistling every time they called a name to go across the stage. I must say Sarah has a pretty impressive two-finger-in-the-mouth-call-your-kids-get-everyone-quiet-whistle now.
After the graduation there was a late lunch. We came home and did nothing major the rest of the day. And life is good.
Here we are waiting for the graduation to begin:
(PS Next post on Monday. And every day next week at least through Friday- seriously, lots of fun adventures:)
