Last Thursday after school, I drove up with the kids to my parent's home. (BA Baracas joined us Saturday morning). We had such a great weekend! My parents went to pick up my youngest brother, Steven from his mission in Argentina. They got home Saturday morning. Everyone was at the airport- all 44 of us! We were all together for the first time in I think 5 years!!
A few hours after the airport we got family pictures. Here are only some of the pictures. (Of course, I don't have a picture of all of us because there wasn't someone to take the picture with my camera:)
Here are my parents and their 4 daughters:

And, I leave the best story for last. Caroline. She has not been around this many people in her life all at the same time...for an extended period of time. Friday when everyone was fussing about how cute she was and trying to pick her up and move her places, she would just kind of fuss and come to me. Saturday at the airport, however, did her in. She threw a fit when anyone even looked at her after that.
And, pictures were still to come. After a much too short nap, we woke her up to go to pictures. She was horrible!!! I have never seen her that worked up and ornery! She cried the entire time. Until the end. After pictures were over. Then she stopped crying. Mostly. But was ornery the rest of the weekend. Especially when there were lots of people and lots of noise.
But, now she is back to normal. Happy. Playful. Not clingy. Sigh. She needs to get used to our big family!!
So here she was in our small family pictures. She was like this the WHOLE time!!

Even with a fit-throwing child, we had a wonderful weekend. Steven's homecoming was so amazing. We spent the whole time at my parents home (which is kind of like being at a hotel. Except you can make lots of noise. And your whole family is there. Very fun:)
I love my family!
