Last week Joseph turned 11. I told him that if he didn't do a birthday party, I'd get him a nicer present, which he opted for. So we got him an iPod CD with speaker system. He loved it. Sarah sewed him a Steelers pillow that was pretty cool.
For his "cake", he wanted Banana Cream and Pumpkin pie, and for dinner he wanted biscuits and gravy and Parmesan chicken.
Our 15th wedding anniversary we had a great afternoon/evening. While Alan and I were out, he surprised me by having Katy, our afternoon office lady come and put this headboard in with the uplights and then he ordered the bedding. The bedding we had was old and not anything to look at. I love my "new" room!
Since we moved into our house, Sarah has wanted to put her name on the wall with cute letters. Slowly, we've worked on them. My sister, Katie, bought the cute picture on the right. We used the teal in our letter project as well.
Here's a close up of the letters. All together it was probably less than $20.
