I don't like the wind.
Especially when you are trying to fill up your van with gas.
And the gas nozzle won't do the automatic pump thing.
And you have to squeeze the handle. Not too much or it acts like you have a full tank, when in fact you are empty.
And it's 14 degrees outside. Without the wind chill. And your hands start to be colder than you can ever remember them being. And you can't see because of the wind blowing your hair in your face. And it's just cold!!

Oh my gosh, so true! I can live with the cold, its the wind I could live without.
Ahhhh, lovely Midwest, how sad I shall be to leave you.
I can handle the wind. What really bothers me is how it's overcast for sometimes weeks on end. When we first moved here, and then Sam was born, it was grey and miserable for 3.5 weeks straight. I counted! And thanks for rubbing it in Super L ;P
Hpw many times have I thought, "I don't want to drag my coat through the store, I'll just hurry through the parking lot and leave the coat at home." Only to remember half way there I need to stop for gas and stand outside for way too long in the cold.
That is the thing that I was warned about and it's totally true. It can be like 25 or 30 and almost bearable and then add the wind and I want to saty inside all the time!!!
Amen
Brrrrrr.... now I remember why I put up with disgustingly hot summers.
Y8uck, that sounds miserable. We get a ton of wind in Heber, but it doesn't sound quite that bad. I can hear it blowing down our chimney, and it almost feels like it shakes the house. I want spring!! Is it too early to feel that way?
