Digital Scrapbooking...some more

Since it's daylight savings and I'm apparently the only one in the house whose body clock hasn't immediately adjusted, I thought I'd blog.

As I have mentioned, I have been introduced to photoshop. Initially I got a crash course before Super L moved to China. Since then, I've spent many hours reading this 700 page book:

I've watched hours of tutorials that a friend gave us. And, I've googled and you-tubed different tutorials that I've also watched. So, I thought I'd share with you all some of the things I've learned to do:

get rid of red eyes:

3 different ways.I know how to do this: (ya, it's not cute. But one day I'll find a use for it. In fact, I've learned lots of stuff that I'm not sure is useful yet. Nonetheless, I now know it. But, I'll probably forget it.)
I learned this: (from a white plain background)

This one was cool to do: (although I haven't found a good place to use the technique yet either.)

I was super excited a few weeks ago to find some lds digital freebie stuff and I was able to do the announcements for our baptism fireside. (This lady has really cute lds digi scrap stuff--her other stuff is cute too. Right now she is working on a ctr theme. That ought to be very cute.)
But, most of my time is doing what I've come to love. I've realized that making these pages not only gives me a creative outlet, they help me escape from some of the stresses of life. I suppose we all need a way to express our creative self and escape the pressures we feel.(Once again, any big gaps are where there is journaling, I just cut it out for the blog.)

I have always been interested in photoshop, but heard that is was hard. I will have to look at this book.

I love your scrap pages. I also find that scrapbooking helps me escape the stresses in life. It is a fun and creative way to get your mind off of things.

Okay, you MUST show me. Even though Photoshop is super duper expensive - I may have to make this something to absolutely work for!! and the book, well I guess I could use to read something. :)
